Founded in 1933, the JWL was formed as Prohibition wound down and the Jive Era would up… so we’re inviting our members, long-time supporters, and friends to join us for cocktails, dinner, live music and dancing in a Great Gatsby meets Bonnie & Clyde Chic themed party!
Our annual Super Bowl boxes fundraiser helps send children to camp every summer and to school with new backpacks and supplies in the fall! Check out available boxes here and order yours before they sell out! Prizes for 1st, Half, 3rd and Final scores!

The carefully curated boutique at our annual spring luncheon is a marquis feature of our event every year. We welcome unique & creative vendors to apply for inclusion. Forms are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis and vendors are chosen based on their products and their appeal to our attendees. Interested businesses should fill out the form and our Vendor Coordinator Jamie Brennan will be in touch right away.
Our annual spring luncheon is set for March 19, 2023 at the Crescent Club, from 11am to 2pm. Get tickets before they sell out (they have the past two years!) and join us as we honor our scholarship recipients, enjoy our impressive array of boutique vendors, dine on a delicious plated lunch, and spend time in the great company of our members, friends and supporters!
Every year the need grows but the JWL met a record amount of need this year, matching 707 children with sponsors. With specific wish lists for every child, sponsors shopped for the gifts every child wanted, provided sweet treats and personal care items, and carefully wrapped and provided for a wonderful Christmas morning. While some schools and districts received their packages directly, both Huntington and South Huntington school districts were distributed through a centralized location with the support of Huntington Assembly of God. 466 children and their holiday packages were distributed through the Assembly of God meeting space (thank you Assembly of God for your amazing support!) on December 19th with JWL members and volunteers, and SCPD Officer Delgado all helping out throughout the day!
Many of our JWL members met to enjoy time together, celebrate the achievements of the past year, and look forward to the coming year with our annual 2022 Holiday Dinner at Buenos Aires in Huntington Village!
