The JWL is proud to announce our 2023 Healthcare Scholarship Winner, Gina Bedoya-Lopez.
Gina is currently enrolled in Molloy University’s Nursing Program and works as a nursing assistant at Huntington Hospital
Gina is committed to learning and furthering her nursing education. She is a self- starter who has exercised great initiative in making career choices that have expanded her capabilities and given her insight and vision. Her focus is always to improve the quality of patient care. She strives for success and inspires others to do the same. She is a natural born leader and one day will make the most amazing healthcare professional. We will be awarding her at our annual Spring Luncheon on March 19 th . Please join us in Congratulating Gina!

The JWL is proud to announce our 2023 Youth In Philanthropy Award Winner, Anna Bell Young . Anna Bell exemplifies a strong sense of community , a giving spirit , compassion and a willingness to help those in need . This young woman will be heading to Tufts University in the Fall where she plans to co- major in Civic Studies and Psychology . We will be awarding her at our annual Spring Luncheon on March 19 th . Welcome Sara,formerly a Human Resource Generalist for 10+ years where she enjoyed advocating for team members and recruiting new talent. Now married and living in Huntington with her husband Evan, 4 year old son Pierce and 1 year old daughter Laurel. She joined the JWL because she wants to give back to her community while meeting and working with other like-minded philanthropic women.
