Inspiring A New Generation of Philanthropy

Founded by The Junior Welfare League of Huntington in 2010, the JUNIOR Junior Welfare League (JJWL) is a hands-on charitable club for girls in grades 6-12.  The goal of the JJWL is to light a spark of volunteerism in its young members and to teach them how to help others in this community and whatever community they find themselves in throughout their lives.

Membership

Our membership investment is $35 per year with the year running from August to April. Members are encouraged to participate in as many service opportunities the club offers, but are required to participate in at least 3 projects. A service opportunity is offered approximately twice a month.

To join please fill out a Member Form and Waiver Form.

Partners

Our members have volunteered for the Carillon Rehabilitation Center, Hilaire Nursing and Rehabilitation, Just for K.I.C.K.S., Huntington Head Start, Madonna Heights, Lewis Oliver Farm, Manor Field Community Center, North Shore Holiday House, Tri-CYA Reading Circle, Project H.O.P.E, Starflower Experience and with the Town of Huntington.
